Theodoros Kostoulas is Senior Lecturer in Computing at the Department of computing and Informatics, at Bournemouth University, U.K.. Before that he was Postdoctoral Researcher and Lecturer at the Computer Vision and Multimedia Laboratory & Swiss Center for Affective Sciences at University of Geneva, Switzerland. He holds PhD degree from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Patras, Greece.

His research interests include Affective Computing, Multimodal Interaction, Human Computer Interaction and Digital Signal Processing, Machine Learning, Physiological Signal Processing, Speech Processing, Emotion Recognition from Speech
